Kellys Distributors had its own stand at Food & Hospitality QLD this year, and for our team it was a big moment. On 12 and 13 October 2026, we joined the exhibitors at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre for the very first time, after years of supporting Queensland’s hospitality industry from behind the scenes.
Food & Hospitality Queensland is one of the state’s biggest trade events for the foodservice and hospitality sector. It brings together chefs, café and restaurant operators, venue owners and buyers who are all looking for what’s new. For a beverage distributor in Queensland, there’s no better place to meet the people we work for.
Two days, a lot of great conversations
The two days flew by. Long-time customers stopped in to catch up, new venue owners came by to see what we’re about, and we finally got to spend real time with partners we usually only speak to over the phone.
Those conversations are what our business is built on. Hearing directly from café owners, bar managers and restaurant teams about what their guests are asking for is the best way to understand what they need from us, and having those chats in person reminded us why we love what we do.
What we saw on the floor
Food & Hospitality QLD was a chance to take the pulse of the market. Walking the floor, we saw new products, fresh flavours and plenty of new ideas about how venues serve their guests.
We came away inspired and with a sharper sense of where Queensland’s hospitality scene is heading. That insight helps us do our job better: bringing the right products to our customers at the right time, so they can stay ahead of what their guests want next.

The team who made it happen
None of this would have happened without the Kellys team. They handled every detail, from planning and logistics to building the stand and welcoming each visitor, with the same energy and care they bring to our customers all year round.
Watching them in action over those two days made us genuinely proud. A stand is only as good as the people on it, and ours were outstanding.

We’re leaving Food & Hospitality QLD 2026 motivated and ready for what comes next. Our focus is simple: keep growing alongside our partners and stay close to the cafés, restaurants, bars and venues that make Queensland’s hospitality scene what it is.
